Pinewood Hotel Rome - Roma

Hotel relación calidad precio buena, bien comunicado por metro y autobuses, el metro está como a 10 minutos andando +/- y junto al hotel hay paradas de autobus que te llevan al centro. Está limpio y no es nada ruidoso. El desayuno no era muy abundante pero no estaba mal.

La habitación estaba muy limpia y lo pasamos bien porque no habia ruídos.

El desayuno no tenía muchas variedades y por dos vezes fui desayunar a las 9:30 y ya no tenía pasteles.

Helpfulness of staff and cleanlkiness

The staff was very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It was easy to reach by car, and had free parking.

It is about a three to four city block walk to the subway station.

Good staff. Hotel is far from city center but metro station is 10 min walking from hotel, and bus stop is just in front of hotel.

No restaurant in the hotel, and just only around metro station. There is no variation of breakfast, but many bread and coffee are available. Fruit juice is too sweet. I don't recommend it.

Hotel was easy to find from the motorway and had free parking. Attractive, spacious reception/lounge area and clean and comfortable rooms. Very quiet at night, and comfortably cool thanks to air con in spite of very hot weather. City centre accessible via public transport. Helpful staff who allowed us to leave luggage in hotel and car in carpark next day while we explored the city. Bus from outside hotel goes direct to Vatican area. Good value hotel for price.

Area around hotel was ok but a bit scruffy & unattractive. (Did not feel unsafe tho) a bit of a walk to bus stop into city centre - we couldn't find it at first, so took metro instead which was a horrible experience - overcrowded, hot and smelly. No problems getting bus back tho. No restaurant for evening meal so we had to eat out - advise doing this in city as not much in local area. Rooms a bit on small side with no view, but fine for a short stay.

Its location to the centre of Rome was the Hotel's strong point and the helpfulness of the staff on answering local enquiries.

The hotel initially offered a completely incorrect room and it took a forceful discussion with the hotel recpetionist to get the hotel to change our room to the grade which we booked. This put an initial dampener on the start of the trip, but was quickly forgotten about and the receptionist turned out to be extremely knowledgeable about transport options into the city. We were travelling with 3 children ages 2, 8 and 13 and the room we had was a little small for 5 people, but that said, this would be an excellent room for a family of three and the hotel's location made getting into and out of Rome pretty easy. The breakfast was OK.

+ Hotel staff; Cleanliness of room

- Breakfast = 0 one kind of chees, one kind of meat - thats all !!!! no bread, no fruits, good only capuccino.Location = 0; metro was closed, we wating for a bus 1 hour, no one goes to the center, taxi was busy ...Internet not for free. At 8 A.m there was repairs and very noisy - we stay 2 nights. There is better to pay more, and take hotel in the center with 4*Breakfast. Dont take this hotel because of low price!!! It will cost much, much more.

I liked Pinewood Hotel Rome. I`ll be back Rome, to Pinewood Hotel Rome.)))

Hotel was a disappointment :(

1 Prior to arrival got hotel confirmation there are bathrobes, but it appeared to be a mistake - no bathrobes in hotel. In addition we had to wait 5 min. to get into hotel late at night though I mailed about my late arrival. 2) Breakfast is poor and if you're not eating by 8:00 you might not get cruasans at all. 3) Hotel staff promissed to provide 1 bed, but it appeared to be 1 bed with two mattresses. 4) EU rosette was not working so we couldn't use hair pan. Overall this hotel is quite used and looks like not more than 3 stars.

Near metro, air conditioning, parking, comfortable room

A small breakfast and big tourist tax (48€ for 4, 2 nights)

Perfect for travellers to Rome by car. Close and easy to find from the motorway, good parking facilities, very nice and dedicated staff, close to the Metro station. Swift and easy transportation to all the sights by metro. The Vatican just a few stops away. Not too expensive if you prefer to take a taxi from the city.

The receptionist was professional, helpful, and spoke English well. When we checked in he gave us crucial information on buses and other public transportation in Rome (bus drivers were on strike). Rooms were clean and breakfast was ok by Italian standards. Plenty of parking space was available.

We stayed in a suite for 5 on ground level next to the elevator. The two rooms were pretty small (for us standards) and noisy due to the location. We asked for another comparable room and decided to stay in ours after realizing that the other available room was even smaller. Coffee was machine brewed only. We had to move our dates by one day and were charged 50% more for the stay. The hotel was fine overall but did not delight us enough to go back if we return to Rome.

Guarantee for the first night still blocked after a week and complete payment (this caqn be also the bank ). Room not quite at 4 stars standards, but still very clean, and excellent services.Overall satisfied with the stay.Would reccommend and stay there again.

On arrival we were given a map which the receptionist mapped out the bus going into the city and out and the best stops. Bus stop only a few minutes away Can`t fault this hotel . Breakfast was good and hotel bright and comfortable.
